1 – Website Privacy Notice
1.1 No data collection by default
Seriously! This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any user-identifiable mechanisms. Your visit is yours alone.
I do not use marketing automation tools or third-party data brokers. Nor do I intend to. Ever.
1.2 Web hosting & third-party services
The site is hosted on Render and the domain is managed via Cloudflare. While House of Hōma collects no personal data directly, these providers may log anonymised technical metadata (IP addresses) for security and performance purposes. These logs are not accessible to me in identifiable form.
1.3 Contact
If you email sam@houseofhoma.com, your name, e-mail address, and message content are retained only for the sake of our correspondence. Deletion can be requested at any time.
1.4 Opt-in, cookies & consent
No cookies, no banner, no hidden marketing tags. There is nothing to opt into.
1.5 JavaScript & style frameworks
This site uses:
- GSAP for light animations : GSAP Privacy Policy
- Tailwind CSS for styling
These libraries are included solely for visual enhancement and do not gather data.
2 – Business & Client Data Handling
2.1 What I collect (only upon engagement)
If you become a client or engage in professional correspondence, I may collect:
- Your name and contact information
- Project-related files and briefs
- Invoicing and payment details (solely for legal and accounting purposes)
- Sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties
- Conduct profiling or data resale
- Store unnecessary offline records
All data is securely stored via ProtonMail and Proton Drive, governed by Swiss privacy laws.
2.2 Legal basis

2.3 Data storage & deletion

- Proton Mail & Drive – encrypted comms & storage
- Google Sheets – name only (anonymisable)
- Standard Notes – encrypted note-keeping
- Wise – payment processing
- Estonian e-Residency tools – compliance
2.5 Security measures
- End-to-end encryption (Proton Mail, optional PGP)
- Two-factor authentication on all services
- Strong password hygiene & access controls
- No local storage of sensitive data
2.6 Your rights under GDPR
